Simple participation option
Balancing groups, balancing group coordinators, balancing group representatives, biogas balancing groups, market area managers, Balancing Service Porviders and Control Area Managers can also participate in the Energy Data Exchange via the EDA infrastructure.
Standardised processes can be handled via the EDA infrastructure, so that the effort and expense to the individual market participant is kept as low as possible.
Prerequisites
In order to participate in the Energy Data Exchange, an identifier is required. This identifier is valid as an identification number for all further data exchange via EDA with other market participants.
How to obtain the identifier:
- Energy suppliers and system operators in the Electricity sector
- Utility providers and system operators in the Gas sector
Connection types
The following options are available for data transmission or exchange for energy suppliers and system operators:
- E-mail connectivity (up to approx. 10,000 metering points)
- Communication Endpoint (from approx. 10,000 metering points)
